KnitPro Punch Needle Frames – two pre-stretched wooden frames in 25 and 20 cm

This set contains two pre-stretched, square wooden frames for punch needle embroidery from KnitPro. The fabric is already held taut in the frame, so you can start punching straight away.

The two frames differ in size and fabric: frame 1 measures 25 × 25 cm and is stretched with monk's cloth, frame 2 measures 20 × 20 cm and is stretched with duck canvas. That way you can try out two fabrics or work one larger and one smaller design. Both fabrics are 100 % cotton. Once your work is finished, you can hang the frames on the wall or give them as a gift.

Which frame for which needle?

Frame 1 with the monk's cloth is intended for needle diameters of 3 mm and 4 mm. The monk's cloth is woven with a double cotton strand. Frame 2 with the closely woven, neutral-coloured duck canvas is intended for a needle diameter of 2 mm. Match the frame and needle accordingly so that the fabric is not overstretched and the stitches come out even.

Using the frames

The fabric is pre-stretched, so you do not need to stretch it yourself. You can use both sides of the fabric, either for loop stitches, for flat stitches or for a combination of the two. Transfer your design onto the fabric before punching and keep the fabric taut as you do so.
