Prym Love Pins with Heart and Butterfly Heads – Assorted Pack of 50
Prym Love pins are 50 mm long, made of stainless steel with flat plastic heads in heart and butterfly shapes. You use them to pin fabric layers and pattern pieces in place when sewing.
According to Prym, the fine point slips easily through several layers of fabric without damaging the fibres. Head and shaft are joined particularly securely, so the heads do not come loose easily, even with frequent use. The plastic heads are easy to grip. The assortment contains 50 pins in silver, light blue, red and pink.
Using the pins
Insert the pins at right angles to the seam edge, so you can remove them in good time before they reach the presser foot. You should not sew over pins with the sewing machine, as the needle may break. The 50 mm length is especially helpful with several layers of fabric, for example when holding pattern pieces or hems in place.
Remove before ironing
The heads are made of plastic. Take the pins out before ironing, so the heads do not come into contact with the hot iron.
