Clover Picot Comb SMALL – even picots in 10 heights

With the Clover Picot Comb SMALL (art. no. 8116) you can make consecutive picots of a defined size in tatting (shuttle lace). You no longer work the little loops by eye, but get them even every time.

Picots in 10 different heights are possible, from approx. 1.0 to 11.8 mm. The height depends on how many comb teeth you use. This means you can work fine spacing and much larger picots with a single tool.

Which thread suits it?

The comb is intended for fine lace thread in sizes #60–#100. Thread sizes vary from one manufacturer to another, so the figure is only a guide. Important: the thread must not be too thick for the gaps between the comb teeth. It is best to test this beforehand with a piece of your thread.

SMALL or LARGE?

Clover also makes the picot comb as a LARGE version (art. no. 8115). This is a separate product with its own values. This description applies only to the Picot Comb SMALL, art. no. 8116.
