April Amigurumi Knitting Kit – Knitted Girl Doll approx. 30 cm

April amigurumi knitting kit – knit a doll with swappable clothes

With the April knitting kit you knit an amigurumi doll about 30 cm tall, with clothes and socks that can be taken off. The kit contains cotton yarn in four colours, toy stuffing, safety eyes and a knitting pattern. You only need to provide the knitting needles yourself.

April has two friends, May and June. You can swap the clothes and socks between the three dolls. The kit also makes a gift for anyone who likes to give hand-knitted presents.

What is in the kit

The cotton yarn comes in four colours, 110 g in total. Light pink, white, light blue and yellow are used for the body, clothes and socks. The kit also includes toy stuffing to give the doll its shape and safety eyes for the face. The pattern is in German, English, Dutch and French.

Knitting the doll

The doll is knitted on 3 mm needles. For amigurumi you generally knit more tightly than for clothing, so that the stuffing does not show through the stitches. Follow the instructions in your pattern. Insert the safety eyes before stuffing and sewing up, as you cannot secure them from the inside afterwards. Stuff the pieces in small portions to keep the shape even. The clothes are knitted separately, so they can be put on and taken off later.
