Hardicraft Emma Cat – amigurumi kit for a cat in a dress

With the Hardicraft Emma Cat kit you make a cat figure in a dress, standing approx. 25 cm tall. The kit contains the pattern, 2 yarns, toy stuffing and safety eyes. There is no need to hunt for materials, so you can start straight away.

The figure works as a decoration, a cuddly toy to give as a gift or a collector's piece. Emma belongs to a Hardicraft series that also includes Frida Piglet, John Bear, Chloe Hare and Freek Elephant.

Making the figure

The pattern takes you through the project step by step. Insert the safety eyes before you stuff and close the figure, as you will not be able to reach the back afterwards. Pin the eyes in place first and check from the front that they are symmetrical. Add the toy stuffing in small portions and shape it evenly in the head and body. This keeps the cat soft and firm in shape, without dents.
