Hardicraft Mees Panda knitting kit – a knitted amigurumi animal with all the materials

The Hardicraft Mees Panda knitting kit contains everything you need to knit a panda about 20 cm tall; only the knitting needles are missing. Mees belongs to Marijke Boone's series of knitted animals.

The kit includes a knitting pattern in German, English, Dutch and French, marl yarn (50 g white and 50 g black), toy stuffing and safety eyes. So there is no need to gather materials separately, and you can start knitting straight away.

Knitting Mees

Knit with 2.5 mm needles. This is a fairly tight tension for knitted animals, so that the stuffing does not show through the stitches later. Follow the details in the pattern. Insert the safety eyes before you stuff and sew up the animal, as you cannot reach their backs afterwards. Add the stuffing in small portions, shaping the head and body evenly as you go.

Yarn in the kit

The marl yarn comes in the kit in white and black, 50 g of each. The panda's colour areas therefore come straight from the kit and you do not need to buy any colours separately. Keep any leftover yarn in case you want to touch things up later.
