Stella Bunny knitting kit – amigurumi bunny in organic cotton yarn

With the Hardicraft Stella Bunny knitting kit, you knit an amigurumi bunny approx. 20 cm tall. The kit is aimed at beginners and contains a pattern, yarn, toy stuffing and safety eyes. The pattern is by designer Marijke Boone.

According to the manufacturer, the yarn is 100 % organic cotton and comes in two colours: white and lilac, 25 g each. So you already have all the yarn you need for the bunny and only need to add suitable needles.

What's in the kit

The kit includes a pattern, two balls of yarn in white and lilac, toy stuffing for shaping and safety eyes for the face. The pattern is multilingual, including German. Knitting needles in size 2.5 mm are not included; you will need them separately. The needle size is on the small side for this yarn, so that the fabric is dense and no stuffing shows through later.

Making your amigurumi

Knit as firmly and evenly as described in the pattern, because loose stitches let the stuffing show. On knitted figures, safety eyes are usually fitted before stuffing; follow the instructions in the pattern. Stuff the parts in small portions so the bunny becomes evenly round without dents. White and lilac come already matched in the kit, so you don't need to combine colours yourself.
