Hardicraft Triceratops Crochet Kit – Amigurumi Dinosaur with Pattern and Yarn

With the Hardicraft Triceratops crochet kit, you crochet an amigurumi dinosaur that measures approx. 24 cm in length. It was designed by Sylvia Molenaar. The kit contains cotton yarn in three colours, 6 mm safety eyes, toy stuffing and the instructions in German, English, Dutch and French. All you need to provide is a crochet hook and scissors.

The yarn is 100 % cotton (organic cotton according to Hardicraft). You get 75 g of light pink and 10 g each of coral and white. The quantities are matched to this one dinosaur, so you don't need to buy or calculate anything extra.

Crocheting the Triceratops

Amigurumi is usually worked in rounds and fairly tightly, so that the stuffing does not show through the stitches. A 2.5 mm hook is therefore a sensible choice for this cotton yarn. Work the individual parts as set out in the pattern. Insert the safety eyes before stuffing, as they cannot be fixed in place afterwards. Stuff the dinosaur in small portions so that the shape is even, and finish by weaving in all the ends.

About the kit

The yarn colours and quantities are fixed. If you would like your own colour combination, use a different cotton yarn. The instructions come in four languages, so you can crochet in the language you feel most confident with.
