Curtain Lead Weight Tape Ø 2.0 mm, 14 g/m

Curtain lead weight tape Ø 2.0 mm – weighted tape for curtains that hang straight

This curtain lead weight tape (weighted tape) with a diameter of 2.0 mm weights net curtain and curtain hems so that the fabric hangs straight and smoothly. It is covered in light grey polyester fabric (100 %) and weighs approx. 14 g per metre.

With the weight given per metre, you can work out the total weight in the hem yourself: for a 3 m hem, it comes to around 42 g.

Using the weighted tape

Measure the length of the finished hem and cut the tape to that length. Place it in the hem or in a hem channel and secure it with a few hand stitches so that it does not shift. For curtains with several panels, each panel gets its own piece so that all the panels hang evenly. The polyester fabric sits between the core and the curtain fabric.
