Prym Aqua Fabric Glue Marker – tack fabric without pins

The Prym Aqua glue marker (art. no. 987185) is a glue pen for temporarily holding fabric, trims, lace and zips in place before you sew them. You tack without needle or pins, and the layers stay where you put them.

The glue shows up yellow, so you can see exactly where you have applied it. As it dries, the glue loses its yellow colour. It washes out, and the pen can be refilled with a refill.

Using the Aqua glue marker

Apply the glue where the pieces are to lie and press them together. This way you can feed two layers of fabric through the sewing machine tacked together and free of wrinkles. Position trims and lace before sewing them on, and fix a zip in place before stitching it. Because the glue is yellow at first, you can see whether you have covered the whole edge. On delicate or light-coloured fabrics, test the pen on a fabric scrap first.
