The Prym silicone finger protectors (art. no. 611914) protect your fingers from direct contact with the hot soleplate when ironing. This is useful when you are pressing seams, hems or edges and have to guide the iron close behind your fingers. The pack contains 3 finger protectors made of plum blue silicone.

The surface has a fine nub texture. This gives you good grip even on delicate fabrics, so you can hold and position the fabric securely.

Using the finger protectors

Slip the finger protectors onto the index, middle and ring fingers of the hand that holds the fabric. With this hand you guide the fabric close in front of the iron, while your other hand guides the iron. Even so, do not touch the hot soleplate with your fingers, and for delicate fabrics check the recommended ironing temperature beforehand.
