The PRYM silicone iron shoe is fitted over the soleplate of your iron and reduces the direct heat on the fabric. The cover can also be used with steam irons, as the openings let the steam through. A steel spring holds the iron shoe in place on the soleplate. It is a useful addition for sewing and fabric care on delicate or printed textiles.
