Prym Maxi Fabric Shaver – Removing Lint and Bobbles from Woollens

The Prym Maxi fabric shaver (art. no. 611724) is an electric shaver that removes lint and bobbles from woollens and knitwear. It runs on 2 AA batteries (1.5 V) and works without a cable. The casing is made of plastic and the cutting plate of metal. The shaved-off lint is collected in a lint container.

To clean it, take the shaver apart and clean it with the brush supplied.

How to remove bobbles

The cutting plate is perforated, with a cutting blade turning behind it. Guide the shaver over the fabric in even strokes with only light pressure. Too much pressure can cut holes in the material. Stretch loosely knitted pieces out flat, for example on a table, so that the fabric does not bunch up in the cutting plate.

Cleaning and care

Empty the lint container regularly and take the shaver apart to clean it. Use the brush supplied to remove lint from the cutting plate and casing. Switch the shaver off first.
