Prym Standard Marking Set – Wash-Proof Name Labels for Clothing

With the Prym Standard marking set (art. no. 611793), you can label clothes and textiles with names, for example for school, nursery, sport or care homes. The set consists of 3 m of iron-on cotton tape, a black laundry pen and a letter stencil. The ironed-on labels and the textile ink are washable up to 95 °C, so the lettering also withstands hot washes.

How to label your clothes

Cut pieces of tape to a length that suits your garment. Place the stencil on the tape and write the name with the laundry pen. Let the ink dry completely, then iron the tape onto the inside of the garment, for example onto the care label or the hem. According to the manufacturer, the tape can be ironed at up to setting 3 (cotton). For delicate fabrics or synthetic fibres, test the ironing on an inconspicuous spot first.

Good to know before you start

The stencil has capital letters only, 8 mm high. You will need to write numbers and punctuation marks freehand. The tape is 11 mm wide, so short names fit nicely on one piece.
