Prym Omnigrid cutting mat 60 × 90 cm – self-healing, with cm and inch scales

The Prym Omnigrid cutting mat in light green is the large cutting surface for cutting fabric accurately with a rotary cutter. At 60 × 90 cm it gives you plenty of space for large pieces, and you can line up your fabric directly with the printed guide lines.

The mat is printed on both sides: the front has a cm scale, the back an inch scale. That way you can follow patterns in inches without converting measurements. The plastic is self-healing and soft enough not to damage the blade of your rotary cutter.

Cutting accurately

Place the mat on a flat, firm surface and line up the selvedge or the fold of the fabric with one of the printed lines. Position your ruler and cut away from your body with the rotary cutter. Because the surface is self-healing, fine cut marks close up again and the mat stays smooth for longer. If you turn the mat from time to time, the wear is spread over several areas.

Which size should you choose?

This mat is the largest of the three Omnigrid sizes in light green, pink and orange. It suits larger pieces of fabric and pattern pieces. The smaller mats take up less room at your sewing table and are more practical for smaller pieces.
