Prym Nylon Repair Patches – Quick Repairs for Outdoor Textiles

Prym self-adhesive nylon repair patches mend tears in rain jackets, waterproof trousers, umbrellas, tent fabric and bags made of nylon, polyamide or technical fabric. You cut a suitable piece to size and stick it over the damaged area, with no sewing needed.

The patches are made of 100% polyamide, are water-repellent and can be washed at up to 30 °C. The card holds 2 patches, each measuring 6.5 × 14 cm. Choose your colour from the options, so the repair can match your item.

Applying the patch

Clean the damaged area first: it must be clean, free of grease and dry, otherwise the adhesive will not hold as well. Then cut a piece from the patch that clearly covers the tear all round. Rounded corners make the edge less likely to peel. Peel off the protective film, lay the patch on without wrinkles and press it down firmly.

What the patches are suitable for

Prym lists rain jackets and trousers, umbrellas and tent fabric as typical uses. Bags and other outdoor textiles made of nylon, polyamide or technical fabric can also be repaired with them. As you can cut the patch to size, you can match it to the damage and keep the rest for later repairs.
