Prym half-moon shoulder pads M–L – for a defined shoulder line

The Prym half-moon shoulder pads in size M–L shape and define the shoulder line on set-in sleeves, for example on knitwear, jackets and blazers. You sew them in between the lining and the outer fabric. They emphasise the shoulders, so the waist looks slimmer and the silhouette more feminine. According to Prym, they keep their shape when washed gently in the machine.

The pack contains 1 pair, i.e. two pads, on a retail card. The cover is white. If you use the pads under light-coloured fabric, they show through less as a result.

Inserting the shoulder pads

First pin the pads to the shoulder seam and check that both sides sit at the same height and are mirror images of each other. Then fix them with a few hand stitches to the seam allowance between the lining and the outer fabric. This stops them slipping when the garment is worn and washed.

Care

The pads are washable up to 30 °C. On garments that you rarely wash, you can attach them with a few stitches and remove them again if needed.
