Prym bobbin box with 12 CB metal bobbins for sewing machines

Prym bobbin box with 12 CB metal bobbins – spare bobbins to hand

The Prym bobbin box (art. no. 611985) contains 12 CB metal bobbins for sewing machines with a CB hook. You have spare bobbins ready for different threads and colours, and they sit neatly next to the sewing machine instead of loose in a drawer.

The bobbins have a diameter of 20.5 mm and a height of 11.7 mm. The box is made of plum-blue plastic and the lid is transparent. This lets you see at a glance which thread is on which bobbin and how full it still is.

Will the bobbins fit your machine?

The hook joins the upper thread and the bobbin thread and so affects stitch quality. The CB hook system with a central bobbin is particularly common on domestic machines. The bobbins only fit machines with a CB hook. Before buying, check your machine's manual to see which hook is fitted.

Using the box

Before sewing in several colours, wind the bobbins in advance with the matching thread, so you can change the bobbin thread without rewinding. The transparent lid shows the thread colour and the amount left without opening the box.
