Glorex Granulex Fine – Filling Granules for Dolls, Teddies and Soft Toys

Glorex Granulex fine is a white, fine-grained granular filling for dolls, teddies and soft toys. According to the manufacturer, the grains are approx. 1 mm in size. The bag contains 500 g.

The granules are machine washable up to 30 °C. This is handy for soft toys that are handled a lot. Only wash them, though, if the fabric and all the seams are suitable for it.

Filling with granules

Granules trickle, so you need a tightly woven fabric and closely sewn seams. Pour the granules in through the turning gap using a funnel or a small cup and spread them carefully. The fine granules can also be poured into narrow arms and legs. Finally, sew the opening closed carefully with a double seam so that nothing can escape. A filling made only of granules feels heavier and firmer than a filling of toy stuffing alone. If you prefer a softer feel, you can mix the two.

Fine or coarse?

These granules are the fine-grained version with approx. 1 mm grain. They suit smaller figures and details well, because the grains slip into tight spots too. The granules are also available in a coarse-grained version in our range.
