Prym 1-Hole Cord Stopper – adjust and secure cords

With the Prym 1-hole cord stopper (art. no. 416655) you can adjust and secure cords on jackets, trousers, bags and gym bags. The spring clamps the cord and stops it from slipping through. The pack contains 2 stoppers in black.

The stopper is made of plastic and rust-protected metal. At 26 × 14 mm it is compact enough not to get in the way under the hem or at the end of the cord. According to Prym, it is washable up to 40 °C, so it stays in use even on clothing that is washed often.

Using the cord stopper

Press the spring together, thread the cord through the hole and release the spring. The stopper now sits firmly on the cord and can be moved by pressing the spring again. Tie a knot at the end of the cord so that the stopper cannot slip off. The cord should suit the hole: if it is too thick, it cannot be pulled through; if it is too thin, it grips less securely. It is therefore worth testing it first on a piece of cord.
