Städter Embossing Heart Cookie Cutter 6.0 cm – Cut Hearts with an Embossed Pattern

With the Städter embossing heart cookie cutter, you cut 6.0 cm hearts from dough, fondant or marzipan. The cutter is made of stainless steel and has an embossed pattern that gives each cut-out heart a textured surface. You can also use it for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

The heart motif suits weddings, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or salt dough pendants and gift decorations. At 6.0 cm, biscuits and decorations come out in a handy size.

Getting a good embossed pattern

Roll out the dough evenly so the cutter presses to the same depth everywhere. Dip the cutter briefly in flour, or dust fondant with icing sugar, and the heart will release cleanly. Press the cutter down firmly and straight through, then lift it off without twisting. With shortcrust pastry, the pattern holds better during baking if you chill the cut-out hearts briefly before baking.

Crafting and modelling

You can also press the motif into salt dough, modelling clay or Fimo, for example for pendants or gift decorations. If you have used the cutter with modelling materials, do not use it for food afterwards.
