Städter Ghost Embossing Cookie Cutter – Stainless Steel Cutter for Dough, Fondant and Marzipan

With the Städter ghost embossing cookie cutter, you cut out dough, fondant or marzipan and the shape is pre-embossed at the same time. The stainless steel cutter measures 6.5 cm. It suits biscuits, cake decorations and Halloween bakes.

The cutter can also be used for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO.

Cutting tips

Roll the dough out to an even thickness so the embossing is the same depth everywhere. If the dough is sticky, dust the cutter lightly with flour; for fondant, use a little cornflour or icing sugar. Press the cutter straight down without tilting it, then carefully lift out the pieces of dough. With biscuits, the embossing holds better during baking if the dough is firm enough. Chill it before cutting if needed. Rinse the cutter thoroughly after use and dry it.

For crafting and modelling

With modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO, the cutter produces ghosts of an even size, for example for pendants or decorations. If you use the cutter for these craft materials, do not use it for food afterwards.
