Kesper beech wood spatula – gentle on non-stick pans

The Kesper spatula (art. no. 69440) in FSC®-certified beech wood is a 30 cm kitchen tool for frying and turning food in pans and pots. The wood does not scratch non-stick surfaces, so the coating on your pans and pots stays intact. With a blade 6 cm wide, you can turn schnitzel, pancakes or fried potatoes without having to adjust your grip.

The wood is untreated and natural. That is why the spatula also works as a blank for craft and DIY projects, for example for painting or carving.

Caring for the wooden spatula

Wipe the spatula with a damp cloth after use. It is not dishwasher safe. Then leave it to air dry and do not leave it soaking in water, so the wood does not swell or crack.

Painting and carving

Because the beech wood is untreated, it takes paint and carving tools well. Always carve away from your body and lightly sand the surface before painting. A painted or carved spatula is intended as a decorative or craft piece and is no longer used for cooking and frying.
