Städter Liquid Food Colouring Blue – colouring batter, cream, whipped cream and drinks

Städter liquid food colouring in blue colours cake and biscuit mixtures, creams, whipped cream and drinks. The colour is highly concentrated, water-soluble and neutral in taste, and according to the manufacturer it complies with food legislation. You add it drop by drop, so you decide how delicate or strong the blue becomes.

The colour is not suitable for chocolate. A water-based colour makes chocolate seize.

How to dose the colour

The manufacturer's quantities give a soft to delicate shade. For a stronger blue, add a few more drops as you wish. It is best to add the colour drop by drop and stir well each time before adding more. For whipped cream, add the colour to the cream before whipping.

• approx. 4 drops for 125 ml clear liquid (water, sparkling wine or similar)
• approx. 8 drops for 125 ml cream, added before whipping
• approx. 15 drops for 125 g marzipan with approx. 60 g icing sugar
