Rayher gold wax border – decorating candles with the warmth of your hand

The Rayher wax border in gold decorates candles for christenings, communions, confirmations, weddings or birthdays. The delicate border is approx. 21 cm long, approx. 14 mm wide and has small gold leaves on both sides. The pack contains 2 strips.

You cut the border to the length or shape you want and press it on with the warmth of your hand. According to Rayher, it adheres very well to unvarnished candles, as well as to plastic and glass. You should not use it on varnished candles.

How to decorate a candle

The border is soft and can be worked with a little care. Cutting it to size also makes small motifs and patterns possible.

• Choose a candle: the surface must be unvarnished.
• Cut the border to length or shape with scissors, a pointed kitchen knife or a cutting and perforating pen.
• Lay the border in the desired position and press it on with a warm hand until it sticks.
• If you would like to give the finished candle shine and protection, you can use candle gloss varnish.
