Rico Design small heart candle mould – silicone mould for mini heart candles

With the small heart candle mould from Rico Design, you can make your own little heart candles. The mould is made of very soft silicone, so the finished candle comes out easily without you having to bend it. The mould measures 60 x 56 x 33 mm, and the cast candle is approx. 45 x 50 x 25 mm. The inside has an embossed geometric pattern, which shows as a relief pattern on the candle.

You need approx. 22 g of wax per candle, so you can easily weigh out the amount for several candles in advance. The mould is heat-resistant to 230 °C.

How to cast the heart candle

The wick is threaded through the mould from underneath so that it stays centred while you pour.

• Use a tapestry needle or another pointed object to pierce a hole in the centre of the underside of the mould.
• Pull the wick through the hole and knot it on the outside.
• Pour the liquid wax in up to the top edge, making sure the wick stays centred.
• Only remove the candle once it has set completely. If you demould too early, the surface may become distorted and the relief pattern will suffer.
