Rayher glitter wax film – 8 decorating wax sheets in 8 glitter colours

The Rayher glitter wax film consists of 8 decorating wax sheets measuring 100 x 50 mm (10 × 5 cm) in 8 glitter colours. You can use them to decorate candles, and the decorating wax is also suitable for many other craft techniques.

According to Rayher, the wax can be cut with scissors, a pointed kitchen knife, a cutting and perforating pen or cookie cutters. This lets you cut out strips, ornaments or shapes. As each colour is included once in the set, you can combine several colours on one candle.

How to decorate a candle

Decorating wax is pressed onto unvarnished candles using the warmth of your hands. First cut out the motif you want, warm the piece briefly between your fingers and then press it gently onto the surface of the candle. Rayher states that decorating wax also sticks to plastic or glass. You can therefore also decorate candle jars or decorative objects.

There are several ways to cut the wax into shape:

• Scissors for straight strips and simple shapes
• Pointed kitchen knife for fine outlines
• Cutting and perforating pen for lines and patterns
• Cookie cutters for even motifs
