Victorinox Huntsman Wood pocket knife – 13 functions, walnut scales

Victorinox Huntsman Wood – Swiss Army knife with 13 functions and walnut scales

The Victorinox Huntsman Wood (art. no. 1.3711.63) is a medium-sized Swiss Army knife with 13 functions for the kitchen, workshop, craft table and leisure time. The scales are made of walnut, which feels pleasant in the hand and gives the knife a warm look. The grain is natural, so every knife looks slightly different.

At 91 mm long, 18 mm high, 26 mm wide and 95 g, the knife stays slim and light, yet carries blades, scissors, a saw and further tools in a single case.

The tools in the Huntsman Wood

According to Victorinox, the knife has 13 functions:

• large and small blade
• scissors
• wood saw
• corkscrew
• tin opener with 3 mm screwdriver
• bottle opener with 6 mm screwdriver
• wire stripper
• reamer/punch
• multi-purpose hook
• key ring

What you can use the knife for

In the kitchen and on a picnic you have the blades, corkscrew and bottle opener to hand. For craft and repair jobs, the scissors, saw, screwdrivers and wire stripper help. With the reamer you can pierce holes in soft material such as card or leather. Because the blade does not lock, hard or tough materials are better cut with a knife that has a locking mechanism.
