Victorinox Sportsman 0.3803 pocket knife, 13 functions, red

Victorinox Sportsman – medium Swiss Army knife with 13 functions

The Victorinox Sportsman (art. no. 0.3803) is a medium-sized red Swiss Army knife with 13 functions for the home, workshop and leisure. With a corkscrew, bottle opener, tin opener and nail file, you have many everyday tools in one. The scales are made of ABS/Cellidor and the knife is made in Switzerland.

At 84 mm long, 15 mm high and around 52 g, the Sportsman stays compact and slim. The large blade does not lock and cannot be opened one-handed.

Using the tools

The large blade cuts string, packaging, fruit or a snack. The bottle opener and tin opener deal with bottles and tins, and the corkscrew opens wine bottles: place the tip in the centre of the cork and turn the spiral straight in. The 3 mm and 6 mm screwdrivers fit small slotted screws on glasses, household appliances or tools. The wire stripper on the bottle opener removes the insulation from thin cables. Only work on cables that are not live.

Small tools and care

With the punch/reamer/sewing awl you can pierce holes in leather or fabric, or drill small pilot holes in soft material. You will find the tweezers and toothpick in the handle scales, and the nail file with nail cleaner is for personal grooming. The key ring lets you attach the knife to a bunch of keys. Wipe the knife after use and dry it before folding the tools away.
