Glorex pyramid candle mould – square pyramid with wick and needle

The Glorex pyramid candle mould (art. no. 69731400) is a polycarbonate mould for casting your own pyramid candles with a square base. The finished candle measures 60 x 60 mm across and 228 mm high. The mould is transparent and withstands temperatures up to 140 °C, so your wax should not be any hotter than that.

A matching wick and a needle are included. The red end of the wick marks the wick tip, so you can insert it the right way round straight away. Instructions are included.

Casting the candle

Insert the wick following the enclosed instructions and make sure it sits taut and centred. Only then pour in the wax. As wax shrinks while it cools, it usually sinks in the middle. Top up with a little more wax before it sets completely. Only remove the candle from the mould once it has cooled completely. Thanks to the transparent mould, you can see from the outside how high the wax stands.
