Egg Box Silicone Mould – Flexible Casting Mould for Plaster, Concrete and AC730

With this silicone mould you can cast small egg boxes in plaster, concrete or the water-resistant casting compound AC730. The soft silicone gives way when you demould, so even fine details of the egg box are preserved. The mould measures approx. 14.5 × 10 cm and can be used many times.

You can use the castings as decorations, for Easter ideas, as a gift project or as a small tray on your craft shelf. The mould also works with Jesmonite and resin.

Casting tips

Stand the mould on a level surface so that the top of the casting comes out flat. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on the pack and pour it slowly into the hollows. Then tap the mould gently on the table so that air bubbles rise to the surface. For fine details, a free-flowing, finely mixed compound works better than a thick paste. Do not demould until the compound has set completely: gently stretch the silicone at the edges and release the piece from the outside inwards.

Important notes on use

Once you have used a mould for plaster, concrete or casting compounds, do not use it for food afterwards. The mould is intended exclusively for craft and casting projects. Clean it after casting so that no residue affects the surface next time.
