HobbyFun round candle holder silicone mould – flexible mould for taper candle holders

The round candle holder silicone mould from HobbyFun is a mould for casting round taper candle holders. You fill it with casting compounds such as plaster, resin, concrete or ceramic. The finished candle holder measures approx. 4.5 × 2.5 cm and suits taper candles.

The silicone is flexible, so the hardened piece comes out of the mould easily. The mould is reusable, so you can cast several identical holders for a dinner table, a gift set or table decorations.

Casting the candle holder

Place the mould on a flat, level surface so that the holder stands straight later. Mix the casting compound according to its manufacturer's instructions and fill the mould slowly. Approx. 60 g of compound fills it. Tapping it lightly on the work surface brings air bubbles to the top. Once the compound has hardened completely, carefully bend the mould apart and release the piece.

Cleaning and notes

After demoulding, clean the silicone mould with water and, if needed, a little washing-up liquid. A mould that has been used for plaster, resin or concrete should no longer be used for food. Before displaying it, check that your taper candle fits into the opening of the finished holder.
