Efco Reliefco 250 – white casting powder for reliefs and models

Efco Reliefco 250 is a fine, refined casting powder in white. You can use it to cast decorative reliefs and full 3D models with fine detail. Mix it with water and it then hardens in the air. No firing is needed.

The powder is odourless and produces hard, white casts that you can paint once they have dried out. Choose your pack size from the options.

Mixing Reliefco 250

The working time is only 10 minutes. Have the mould and container ready before you mix, and only mix as much as you can pour in that time. Avoid raising dust when measuring out.

• Pour the water into the container and sprinkle in the powder, approx. 3 parts powder to 1 part water
• Leave the powder to rest for approx. 1 minute without stirring
• Stir vigorously in one direction for approx. 1 minute until the mixture is free of lumps
• Pour into the mould and tap the mould gently so that air bubbles rise to the surface

Demoulding and finishing

After approx. 30 minutes you can remove the cast from the mould. Then leave it to dry in the air for at least 12 hours, depending on its size, and only paint it after that. Do not pour leftover mixed compound down the drain; leave it to harden in the container.
