The Folia Owl Mobile Kit is a 19-piece craft set for sewing your own owl mobile from felt, embroidery thread and toy stuffing. Everything you need is included: a wooden mobile star, 7 felt sheets, 3 skeins of embroidery thread, nylon thread, toy stuffing and 6 wooden beads. Instructions with a pattern sheet are also included, so you do not have to design the shapes yourself. You can manage it even with little sewing experience.

Making the mobile

You will find the exact order of work and the owl shapes in the pattern. In general, you trace the pattern pieces from the sheet onto the felt sheets, cut them out and sew them together with the embroidery thread. Felt does not fray, so you can cut the edges cleanly and do not need to finish them. When stuffing, push the toy stuffing into the curves in small portions, for example with the handle of a paintbrush. This keeps the owls evenly filled and free of dents. Finally, attach the owls and the wooden beads to the wooden star with the nylon thread.

The wooden beads are small parts. Keep the kit and the finished mobile away from small children, and hang it out of their reach.
