Rayher 3D glitter effect film – light effects for jars and lanterns

The Rayher 3D glitter effect film is a translucent, slightly opaque effect film made of PP, which you can use to decorate jars, lamps, lanterns or windows. Without light it looks plain. As soon as you light it from behind, light effects appear.

The film is 33 cm wide and the roll is 100 cm long. At a thickness of 0.15 mm, it wraps easily around containers. The lengthways and crossways grid lines on the film are a result of production.

Using the film

Wrap the film around a glass container and secure it, for example with double-sided tape, as it is not self-adhesive. For small containers a tealight is enough. For large jars, use a battery-operated micro LED string light so that the surface glows evenly. You can also use the film to decorate lamps, lanterns and windows.

Things to bear in mind

The light only works when it shines through the film from behind. Place the light source inside the container, not in front of it. The grid lines on the film are part of the product and create the light structure. With tealights, make sure the film does not touch the flame and keeps a sufficient distance. Never leave burning tealights unattended. With an LED string light, this is not an issue.
