URSUS origami paper, translucent 42 gsm, 14 × 14 cm, 100 sheets white

URSUS translucent origami paper – 100 sheets in white

URSUS origami paper is made from translucent paper weighing 42 gsm and comes in a square 14 × 14 cm format. You get 100 white sheets that you can use to fold animals, geometric figures and other two- or three-dimensional objects.

The paper is dyed through, so the colour runs through the whole sheet and not just the surface. At 42 gsm it is a thin paper that works well for fine folds and multi-step models. You do not need to cut the square first, so you can start folding straight away.

What thin translucent paper is suited to

Thin paper creases sharply and copes well with several layers of folds on top of each other. If you are folding a model with many steps, it is therefore usually easier than with thick card. Run your fingernail or a bone folder along each fold so the edges stay crisp. White paper suits simple figures that you want to paint or write on later. For coloured models, URSUS also offers an assorted colour paper at 115 gsm in 15 × 15 cm.
