Rayher Mini Hot Glue Gun Jungle – for bonding card, wood, textiles and more

The Rayher Mini Hot Glue Gun Jungle bonds many craft materials using hot glue sticks (Ø approx. 7 mm). The hot melt glue is liquefied in the gun to form a sticky, pliable layer. You can use it to join card, paper, wood, cork, metal, leather, ceramic, porcelain, textiles, foams, various plastics, small mosaic tiles and many decorative pieces, including combinations of these. At 12 × 12 cm the gun is compact and is designed for mains operation at 220–240 V AC. 2 hot glue sticks are included, so you can get started straight away.

This mini gun only takes sticks approx. 7 mm in diameter. Thicker sticks will not fit in the barrel.

Working with the mini hot glue gun

Push a glue stick into the back of the gun, plug it into the socket and let it heat up until glue comes out of the nozzle. While working and heating up, rest the gun on a heat-resistant surface. Apply the glue in dots or a thin line to one piece and press the second piece on immediately, as hot melt glue sets quickly. Remove stringy glue residue from the nozzle only once it has cooled.

Which materials are suitable?

Absorbent and rigid materials such as card, paper, wood, cork and textiles work well, as do metal, leather, ceramic and porcelain. On foams and plastics, it is best to test on an offcut first, as hot glue can melt delicate surfaces.
