Rayher Flower Power Mini Hot Glue Gun – small glue gun for Ø 7 mm sticks

The Flower Power mini hot glue gun from Rayher joins craft materials with hot glue: the gun melts the glue sticks into a sticky, pliable layer. It holds card, paper, wood, metal, leather, ceramic, porcelain, cork, fabrics, foams, various plastics, small mosaic tiles and many decorative pieces together. The gun measures 12 × 12 cm, which makes it easy to handle for detailed work on decorations, wreaths or models.

The gun runs on the mains at 220–240 V AC and is designed for hot glue sticks of approx. Ø 7 mm. Two sticks are included, so you can start straight away. An instruction manual with safety information is enclosed.

Using the mini hot glue gun

Insert a glue stick into the back of the gun and plug it in. Let the gun heat up until the glue comes out of the nozzle. Push the stick forward with the trigger and apply the glue in small amounts. Put the parts together straight away and press them together briefly, as hot glue cools quickly and then no longer bonds cleanly. Remove thin strings of glue once it has cooled.

Things to bear in mind

Always place the gun on a heat-resistant surface while you work, for example a silicone mat, as the nozzle and glue get very hot. With delicate materials such as foam or thin plastic, apply the glue sparingly and test it on an offcut first. Unplug the gun when you are not using it. This gun takes sticks of Ø 7 mm; thicker sticks will not fit.
