Rayher Seed Beads ø 4 mm – Silver-Lined Glass Beads for Threading and Embroidery

Rayher seed beads ø 4 mm are small glass beads with a centre hole, for jewellery, beaded animals and friendship bracelets. You can also embroider them onto accessories and clothing. The silver lining gives the colours a shimmer. Choose your colour from the options.

At 4 mm, these beads are larger than seed beads in 2 mm or 2.6 mm, so they are easier to pick up and thread. They look bolder on bracelets and necklaces and work well if you want visible results quickly. They are supplied in a tin of 17 g.

Uses and techniques

All you need to get started is beads and jewellery wire or nylon thread. You will find instructions for weaving, threading, embroidering or crocheting with seed beads in books and online. Typical projects are beaded animals, friendship bracelets, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, belts and hair accessories. You can also use the beads to embroider and decorate accessories and clothing.

Note for textiles

If you attach beads to clothing or accessories, bear the care instructions in mind: the beads can only be hand washed, and colours 16 and 49 cannot be washed at all. Take this into account when buying if the item will need washing later.
