This heart-shaped wooden box is an unfinished natural wood blank to paint, decorate or engrave. The integrated magnetic clasp keeps the lid closed. At approx. 135 × 122 × 63 mm (L × W × H), it holds small gifts, jewellery or letters.

As the wood is untreated, you decide on the finish: with acrylic paint, decoupage, pyrography or decorative stones. As a gift box or keepsake box, it suits weddings, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Decorating the heart box

Lightly sand the surface if needed and remove the dust. Apply acrylic paint in thin coats and let each coat dry, so the wood is covered evenly. For decoupage or Decopatch paper, glue the motifs onto the lid and seal them with varnish. Let the paint and glue dry completely before you close the box, so the lid and base do not stick together.
