Folia book covering film – self-adhesive protection for books and exercise books

Folia book covering film is a self-adhesive, clear protective film for covering school books, exercise books and brochures. It is made of polypropylene, is PVC-free and tear-resistant. Printed grid lines on the backing paper help you cut it straight.

The film is 45 cm wide. Choose the roll length from the options: a shorter roll is enough for a single book, while for several books or a whole stack of exercise books you will want a longer one.

How to cover a book

Place the book on the back of the backing paper and use the grid lines to mark the cutting line. Allow a few centimetres of overlap all round for folding in. Cut the film to size, peel back a short section of the backing paper along one edge and stick the film down there. Then smooth it down gradually from the centre outwards so that no air bubbles form. Finally, fold the overlap inwards and press it down firmly.

Tips for use

Work on a clean, flat surface and make sure the book cover is dry and free of dust. Once the film has stuck, it is difficult to reposition. So never peel off the backing paper all at once, but only a little at a time.
