The Efco brooch pin with ball clasp is the back piece for handmade brooches and badges. It is 38 mm long. The bulk pack contains 100 pieces, which suits you if you make brooches in batches, for example for markets, gifts or workshops.

The 38 mm length is intended for medium to larger motifs. Before attaching the pin, lay it on the back of your motif: it should not stick out beyond the edge, otherwise it will be visible from the front.

Turning your motif into a brooch

Attach the pin centrally or slightly above the centre on the back. That way the brooch hangs straight later and does not tip forward. Use a glue that is suitable for the material of your motif and let it harden completely before you wear the brooch. On smooth backs the glue holds better if you first roughen the surface slightly and degrease it.
