Working with the stretch cord

Cut a piece that is generously longer than the finished circumference, thread on the beads and knot the ends. To secure the design, tie a figure-of-eight knot or a double knot. Pull the knot tight before trimming the ends so that it does not come undone when worn. Stretch the cord firmly once before threading, otherwise the bracelet may give way later.

Which diameter should you choose?

The cord comes in three diameters. What matters is the hole in your beads: the cord must be able to pass through at least twice if you want to hide the knot inside the bead hole. Fine beads with a narrow hole need the thinner cord, while larger beads with a wide hole take the thicker one.
