Beadalon WildFire Frost – beading thread Ø 0.20 mm, waterproof and colourfast

Beadalon WildFire in Frost (white) is a synthetic, very supple beading thread with a smooth, thermally bonded coating. You can use it for bead weaving, bead embroidery, loom work and bead knitting. At Ø 0.20 mm and with a tensile strength of 5.5 kg, it is fine enough for small beads and still strong.

The thread is waterproof and colourfast and hardly stretches at all. Your piece of jewellery keeps its shape and does not loosen over time.

Working with WildFire

The coating is thermally bonded, so you cannot pierce the thread with a needle. Because it is so firmly bonded, you do not need to pre-condition it before use. According to Beadalon, flattening the tip of the thread with flat-nose pliers makes threading easier. Cut the thread with sharp scissors. With the WildFire Cord Cutter you can trim and seal it in one step.

Which beads will fit?

At Ø 0.20 mm, the thread passes through small beads. If you pass the thread through beads several times, for example when weaving or embroidering, make sure the bead hole is large enough. Choose your length from the options.
