Rayher jewellery cord Ø 1.0 mm – thin cord for necklaces and bracelets

The Rayher jewellery cord has a diameter of approx. 1.0 mm and a length of 20 m. You can use it to make your own necklaces and bracelets. Being so thin, it also fits through beads with a smaller hole, and at 20 m long you can plan several pieces of jewellery from one pack.

The cord is washable up to 30 °C. Choose your colour from the options.

Working with thin cord

Before buying, check that the hole in your beads is clearly larger than 1 mm so that the cord passes through easily. For a necklace, cut the cord generously, as knots and the clasp need extra length. For a bracelet or a necklace with a pendant, it is best to tie the cord to the clasp parts with a firm knot and pull it tight before trimming the ends.

Which thickness to choose?

With Ø 1.0 mm you get fine, delicate jewellery and can also thread smaller beads. If you would like a stronger look, the same jewellery cord is also available in Ø 2.0 mm and 9 m length.
