Rayher crimp bead in gold – for fixing beads and charms on jewellery wire and thread

The Rayher round positioning bead in gold is a small crimp bead (also called a stopper bead) for jewellery making. You use it to fix clasps, secure beads or hold charms in one place on jewellery wire, nylon or thread.

At 3.5 × 3 mm, the bead is small enough for fine necklaces and bracelets. The bag contains 10 pieces, which is enough for several pieces of jewellery with a few fixing points.

How to use the crimp bead

Thread wire, nylon or thread through the opening of the bead and slide it to the position you want. Then squeeze the bead flat with flat-nose pliers. The bead now sits firmly and no longer slips. This way you can hold a clasp at the end of a necklace, separate beads from one another or give a charm a fixed place.

Gold or silver

This size of positioning bead is also available in silver as a separate item. Choose the colour to match the wire, clasp and the other metal parts of your piece of jewellery, so that the bead stays inconspicuous.
