Crimp Beads 2.0 x 2.0 mm – Securing Jewellery Wire

With these 2.0 x 2.0 mm crimp beads you can fasten jewellery wire, nylon thread or other cords, for example at clasps, loops or as stoppers between beads. The small, tube-shaped metal beads are squeezed together with crimping pliers and then hold the thread in place. With 100 pieces you have enough for several necklaces or bracelets and for repairs. Choose your colour from the options.

The compact size suits fine, delicate jewellery designs. If you would like to combine several colours in one piece of jewellery, simply order the colours you want one after the other.

How to attach a crimp bead

Thread the crimp bead onto the wire, pass the wire through the loop of the clasp and then back through the bead. Pull the loop tight and squeeze the bead with the crimping pliers. Then trim the end of the wire close to the bead with side cutters. Before you start, check that your wire or thread fits through the bead twice. If it is too tight a fit, the bead cannot be crimped neatly.
