Rayher Black E27 Lamp Holder – 180 cm Cable with Switch for DIY Pendant Lights
The black Rayher lamp holder is the electrical basis for homemade pendant lights. It has an E27 holder with screw ring, a 1.8 m cable and a switch. With a length of 180 cm, you can set the hanging height of your lamp yourself.
The holder suits projects such as wooden slat lamps, lampshades or lampshade film. The black cable is barely noticeable and goes with dark and light shades alike. Assembly instructions are included.
Planning your DIY lamp
Before you build the shade or lamp body, there are a few things to decide. The holder has a screw ring to which you attach a shade or frame, depending on your project. Check beforehand that your design suits the E27 holder and the connection.
- Decide on the hanging height: the cable is 180 cm long, so plan the suspension accordingly.
- Allow for distance from the bulb: paper, film or thin wood should be kept well away from the bulb, as it gets warm.
- Mind the wattage: the holder is designed for bulbs up to max. 60 W.
- Disconnect the lamp from the mains before every bulb change and when making changes to the lamp.
