Efco Replacement Tips – 6 Metal Tips for the Pyrography Pen 1840001

The Efco replacement tips are an accessory for the Efco pyrography pen, model 1840001. The set contains 6 different metal tips. You can use them to burn lines, fine details and patterns into wood, leather, cork and other surfaces, changing the tip to suit each design.

The different tips are intended for varying line widths and lettering. This means you do not have to burn every design with the same tip, and you also have a spare when one tip is worn out.

Which tip for which design?

The 6 tips differ in shape and therefore in line width. Fine tips suit outlines and small details, broader ones suit filled areas and bold lines. Try the tips out first on an offcut of the material, as wood, leather and cork react differently to heat. After changing the tip, let the pen heat up fully again before you carry on, so that the lines come out even.
