Pebaro Wood Burning Stamps, Set of 12 – Brass Stamps with Designs for Wood, Leather and Cork

The Pebaro wood burning stamps (art. no. 20700) are 12 screw-in brass stamps for the Pebaro pyrography iron. The iron is available separately. With them you burn fixed designs into wood, leather, cork and other materials. This set includes a unicorn, magic wand, fairy, crown, flower, leaf, cupcake, ice cream, rainbow, cloud, bird and butterfly, among others.

The stamps are threaded attachments. You change the design without changing the tool. A stamp produces the same design every time, so the wood burning stamps work well for batches, for example pendants, card holders, wooden signs or leather labels.

Burning with the stamps

Screw the stamp you want onto the cold pyrography iron, then let the iron heat up fully. Sand the wood finely beforehand, as the design will come out cleaner on a smooth surface. Place the stamp on straight and press it briefly with light pressure, without tilting it. If you tilt it, the design will be darker on one side.

• Test the heat and timing on a piece of scrap wood first, as the burn depth depends on the type of wood and the temperature.
• Let the iron cool down before every stamp change, as stamps may only be screwed on to a cold iron.

Designs and size

The designs are approx. 8 mm high. That suits small areas such as pendants, labels or corners of small wooden boxes. On leather and cork you usually need less time than on pale wood, so a test piece is a good idea here too.
